Lenore Petteruti was named chief portfolio strategist for the Americas at CQS (US), confirmed Jonathan Gasthalter, a company spokesman.
The position is new; she joined the hedge fund firm in June.
Ms. Petteruti assists clients with investment advice and solutions regarding portfolio construction and asset allocation.
Ms. Petteruti was a partner and chief risk officer at hedge funds-of-funds manager Corbin Capital Partners. Her duties were assumed by Alan Chuang, who also joined Corbin in as partner and head of risk management and portfolio solutions, said Tracy McHale Stuart, CEO, in an interview.
Mr. Chuang was a principal and head of investment strategy at hedge fund-of-funds manager Antarctica Asset Management. He was not replaced there, said Herman Lopez Mazzio, Antarctica’s general counsel, in an interview.
London-based CQS managed $11 billion globally in credit and multistrategy hedge funds as of June 30.
