Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System, Harrisburg, returned 4.23% in the quarter ended March 31, according to a news release.
Commodities posted the strongest return of all the $51.2 billion system’s asset classes, at 6.78% for the quarter. U.S. equities came in next with a return of 6.71%, followed by real estate at 6.19%; private equity/venture capital/private debt, 4.99%; absolute return, 3.55%; non-U.S. equity, 2.92%; U.S. fixed income, 2.65%; and global fixed income, 2.36%.
The overall return for the fiscal nine months ended March 31 was 18.09%.
