John W. Allen joined Dwight Asset Management as a senior client portfolio manager, focused on managing relationships with clients tapping the firm’s stable value and fixed-income strategies.
In a telephone interview, Matt Gleason, executive vice president and head of stable value at Dwight, said that following a few staff departures this year, an industry veteran such as Mr. Allen will help maintain Dwight’s client service efforts in the Midwest and on the West Coast. The Chicago-based position isn’t replacing anyone in particular, he said.
Mr. Allen previously was a senior investment consultant for institutional clients at Hewitt Investment Group; he left Hewitt at the end of 2010.
Aon Hewitt spokeswoman MacKenzie Lucas said she had no immediate information on whether Mr. Allen had been replaced.
