Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, is searching for eight to 20 emerging domestic equity managers to run $20 million to $50 million each, according to an RFI posted on the $76 billion system’s website.
The system defines U.S. emerging managers as either women- or minority-owned or Ohio-qualified (regardless of ownership) managers with total assets under management of less than $750 million.
The RFI can be found at Ohio PERS' website. The deadline is 6 p.m. EDT July 1. Semifinalist presentations will take place in August and September, with a final decision expected in December.
A phone call to spokeswoman Julie Graham-Price was not returned by press time.
