Par Nuder was named the new chairman of the board of directors at the 220.8 billion Swedish kronor ($34.8 billion) AP3, Stockholm, confirmed fund spokeswoman Christina Kusoffsky Hillesoy.
Mr. Nuder replaces Claes de Neergaard, who is stepping down after eight years on the board. Mr. Nuder was Sweden’s minister of finance from 2004 to 2006.
Also, Bjorn Borjesson was named deputy chairman, replacing Lars Josefsson.
Spokesmen at the ministry of finance, which made the appointments, could not be reached for additional information.
