Ryan D. Taliaferro is joining Acadian Asset Management as a senior vice president and portfolio manager, focused on the global and international equity firm’s growing managed volatility business.
The position is new, according to a news release from Acadian.
Mr. Taliaferro is an assistant professor at Harvard Business School. Reached by telephone, Mr. Taliaferro said while he has enjoyed his work at Harvard, he’s looking forward to new challenges at Acadian.
He said he’ll start full time at Acadian on July 5.
