Leah Modigliani was named a senior vice president and multiasset-class strategist at Neuberger Berman Group, confirmed spokesman Richard Chimberg.
The position is new.
Ms. Modigliani comes to Neuberger from Modigliani Capital Advisors, a boutique advising non-profits, foundations and endowments on portfolio construction that she founded after resigning in February 2008 as an executive director and portfolio strategist with the institutional global portfolio solutions group of Morgan Stanley Investment Management.
In a telephone interview, Ms. Modigliani said she wound down Modigliani Capital.
Her new role at Neuberger will involve “understanding the problems and issues clients are facing, and helping mobilize the organization to meet those needs,” Ms. Modigliani said.
