Chris Boyle was named senior vice president, institutional, with AGF Investments.
Mr. Boyle will be responsible for “expanding and managing the firm's institutional business,” which accounts for almost $26 billion of the firm's $52 billion in assets under management, according to an AGF news release.
The position has been vacant since September, said AGF spokeswoman Karen Archer in an e-mail. She declined to discuss the previous holder of the position.
Mr. Boyle comes to AGF from CI Investments, where he served as a senior vice president. Dustin Hunt, a vice president of institutional sales, has replaced Mr. Boyle, said CI spokesman Murray Oxby.
