Pensions & Investments' Research Center on April 7 received the top prize for best premium content at Min's annual Best of the Web Awards.
The awards are sponsored by Min, a trade publication covering the media industry. Min gave out awards for 28 categories.
In honoring the Research Center, the judges said P&I “crafted a highly accessible Research Center that lived up to its name. The online database allowed managers to create custom searches that served their specific research needs and to pull together the benchmarking and historical data that makes the data make sense. The editors responded to the ways in which users had accessed (or tried to access) the data in the past to create a much more intuitive and efficient path to research.”
Honorable mentions in the category went to consumer publication Men's Health and trade publisher Wards Automotive.
The Min award is the second for the Research Center, which previously won the Crain Cup for innovation from P&I's parent company, Crain Communications Inc.
Aaron Cunningham, P&I's director of research and analytics, oversees the Research Center, a searchable database of plan sponsors, consultants and money managers.
