Gary Lynch, former SEC enforcement director, was named global chief of legal, compliance and regulatory relations at Bank of America Corp.
It is a new position, according to a Bank of America news release.
Mr. Lynch was enforcement director of the SEC from 1985 to 1989. Most recently, he was vice chairman of Morgan Stanley in London. Morgan Stanley spokeswoman Mary Claire Delaney said in an e-mail that there are no plans to replace Mr. Lynch, who in March.
