State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison, is searching for a firm to provide class-action securities litigation services, according to an RFP.
SWIB, which oversees $83.3 billion, wants help “in evaluating and managing the impact of securities class-action litigation on SWIB’s holdings of publicly traded securities,” including “determining what action, if any, is prudent for SWIB to take in securities class actions,” providing notice of securities class action litigation and estimating damages to SWIB’s investment portfolio, according to the RFP at www.swib.state.wi.us.
Responses are due May 6. The board could make a decision June 15.
