Anthony Malloy was named senior managing director of New York Life Investment Management’s newly named general account investment management business, confirmed spokesman John Puccio.
He succeeds Frank Ollari, executive vice president of NYLIM, who will retire on June 30 after 40 years with New York Life.
Mr. Malloy was head of the NYLIM fixed-income investors group. Thomas Girard, managing director of the core fixed-income team and a senior portfolio manager, will succeed Mr. Malloy as senior managing director of that group while retaining his current responsibilities.
The general account investment management business, formerly called the wholesale line of business, has primary responsibility for overseeing the fixed-income assets of New York Life.
