Och-Ziff Capital Management Group's assets under management rose 3.9% to $29 billion year-to-date April 1, according to an 8-K filing by the company Monday. The increase includes net inflow of $300 million since the beginning of the year.
According to the filing, performance of Och-Ziff's four hedge funds was positive in March and in the quarter, with the OZ Master Fund returning 0.48% and 3.36%, respectively; OZ Europe Master Fund, 0.36% and 3.59%; OZ Asia Master Fund, 0.40% and 1.14%; and OZ Global Special Investments Master Fund, 0.59% and 4.62%.
For comparison, returns for March and the quarter of the S&P 500 index were -0.1% and 5.4%, respectively; the MSCI World index returned -1.2% and 4.3% for the periods; and the Barclays Aggregate Bond index came in at 0.1% and 0.4%.
