Michael Underhill, chief investment officer of Capital Innovations, was elected the first chairman of the infrastructure working group for the United Nations Principles of Responsible Investment Initiative, confirmed Kjersti Aalbu, implementation support manager, PRI.
The case studies working group is one of three recently created working groups within the PRI infrastructure work stream. The other two working groups are the outreach working group, which is starting its work this spring, and a best practice working group, which is supposed to begin its work in the second half of this year. The outreach and best practice working groups do not yet have chairs, she wrote in an e-mail. The PRI initiative is a network of international investors working to implement six responsible investment principles that reflect the view that environmental, social and corporate governance issues affect investment performance.
