Dyfed Pension Fund, Carmarthen, Wales, hired Northern Trust as global custodian, confirmed Anthony Parnell, treasury and pension investments manager for the £1.2 billion ($1.9 billion) fund.
The contract of current global custodian HSBC Securities Services expires March 30. HSBC was able to rebid.
