Kathleen Kiely-Becchetti was named executive director of the $450 million Norfolk County Retirement System, Canton, Mass.
She replaced John Keenan, who won election in November as a Massachusetts state senator.
Ms. Kiely-Becchetti was executive director at the $3.3 billion State-Boston Retirement System; she left at the end of last month, confirmed Jean Petitti, an executive assistant with the Boston Retirement Board, which oversees the system’s investments. Daniel J. Greene, deputy director and investment manager with the board, was named interim executive director of the system.
Ms. Petitti said the Boston board will decide how to permanently fill the position at a meeting Wednesday.
