D. William Kohli, Michael V. Salm and Paul D. Scanlon have been named co-heads of Putnam Investments' fixed-income team, confirmed spokesman Jon Goldstein.
The three managing directors and longtime Putnam portfolio managers replace Rob Bloemker, who has decided to leave the firm after two years of commuting between his West Coast home and Putnam's Boston office, according to Mr. Goldstein. Mr. Bloemker will stay on for a transition period, which could extend for a few months.
Mr. Bloemker couldn't immediately be reached for further comment.
Messrs. Kohli, Salm and Scanlon will retain their current roles as team leaders for portfolio construction and global strategies, liquid markets and U.S. high yield, respectively.
Just under half of Putnam's $123 billion in assets under management as of Jan. 31 was overseen by the fixed-income team.
