State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison, issued an RFP for general investment consultants.
The board, which oversees at total of $86.7 billion in assets, could hire more than one firm.
The assignment would be for consulting for the $79.8 billion Wisconsin Retirement System, which SWIB oversees, for services including asset allocation, manager searches and selections, benchmarking, special projects and board governance.
The contracts of incumbents Strategic Investment Solutions and Hewitt EnnisKnupp expire July 1. Both provide consulting on public market manager searches and selection, Vicki Hearing, public information officer, said. SIS also provides consulting on asset allocation and benchmark, while HEK also consults on manager monitoring.
Both may rebid in the search, Ms. Hearing said.
The RFP is available at www.swib.state.wi.us. Proposals are due March 21; selection is expected June 8.
