Claudia Kruse was named head of corporate governance at APG Asset Management, according to spokesman Thijs Steger.
Ms. Kruse, formerly APG’s senior sustainability and governance specialist, will replace Paul Frentrop, who left the company at the end of 2010 to launch an independent consultancy focusing on corporate governance.
Based in Amsterdam, Ms. Kruse will report to Rob Lake, head of sustainability and governance. Her previous responsibilities were divided among existing staff members and her position will not be filled.
APG manages the €231 billion ($314 billion) Stichting Pensioenfonds ABP, Heerlen, Netherlands, among other pension funds.
