Anthony S. Clark was named chief investment officer of the Pennsylvania State Employees' Retirement System, Harrisburg, confirmed Pamela Hile, spokeswoman for the $24 billion system.
Mr. Clark will start on April 4 and replaces John Winchester, who retired from the system Jan. 3. Deputy CIO Tom Brier is currently acting CIO.
Mr. Clark is deputy chief investment officer for the PBGC. Spokesman Marc Hopkins said Mr. Clark will be leaving in March. Mr. Hopkins had no information on how the PBGC vacancy will be filled.
