Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System, Des Moines, issued an RFP in a search for an actuarial consulting firm.
The RFP is posted on the $21.1 billion system’s website, www.ipers.org.
Cavanaugh Macdonald Consulting, the incumbent firm whose contract expires June 30, can rebid, according to Judy Akre, IPERS director of communications.
Among other consulting services, the RFP asks bidders to provide fee proposals for an asset-liability study. The system could undertake a study in the next several years, the RFP states.
Proposals are due Friday; the system hopes to make a decision March 25.
