State of Wisconsin Investment Board, Madison, is searching for consulting firms to assist with recruiting for executive-level positions, according to an RFP.
The board, which oversees $83.3 billion, could hire more than one firm; the RFP is available at www.swib.state.wi.us.
The firms selected would provide recruitment consulting searches for future executive-level investment and operational management recruitments at SWIB, the RFP states.
The first recruitment effort under such consulting arrangement is to replace Gail L. Hanson, who plans to leave as deputy executive director. SWIB plans to search for a restructured position of deputy executive director-operations to oversee fund accounting and operations, information technology, investment services, human resources, communications and legislative liaison.
Total cash compensation for the deputy executive director-operations could be up to $230,000, according to the RFP.
SWIB hasn't put a time frame on the search for deputy executive director-operations, according to Vicki Hearing, public information officer.
Ms. Hanson was named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Aurora Health Care, effective Feb. 21.
No other executive searches are planned at this time.
Proposals in the search are due Tuesday; the board could make a decision the week of March 7.
