Debbie Harris was named head of strategic consultant relations for Standard Life Investments’ institutional business development team.
The position is new, according to a Standard Life news release.
Ms. Harris was head of U.K. & Europe consultant relations at BNP Paribas Investment Partners. Laura Manley, a Chicago-based spokeswoman for BNP, said with BNP evaluating its needs following the recent merger of its money management operations with those of Fortis, no decision has been made yet on whether to fill the position.
