Augustus Cheh was named president of Janus Capital International, the money management subsidiary of Janus Capital Group, effective March 29.
Mr. Cheh will be based in Hong Kong and oversee all of Janus' businesses based outside the U.S., according to a news release
Mr. Cheh was CEO of AllianceBernstein Asia-ex Japan. John Henderson, a spokesman for AllianceBernstein, did not respond by press time for comment on a replacement.
Separately, Hiroshi Yoh was named portfolio manager of Asian equity strategies at Janus Capital Singapore, subject to regulatory approval.
Mr. Yoh was CEO and chief investment officer at Tokio Marine Asset Management International. A spokesman at Tokio Marine was unavailable for comment on Mr. Yoh's replacement.
