Philip A. Godfrey was named managing director at investment consulting firm Angeles Investment Advisors, responsible for business development and client communications.
The position is new.
In a telephone interview, Michael A. Rosen, a principal and managing member of the firm, said Mr. Godfrey’s new business development role will allow himself and fellow managing members Leslie B. Kautz and Howard D. Perlow to focus more on working with clients and research.
Mr. Godfrey was president of hedge fund firm Everest Capital. Timothy Mistele, a senior managing director, will assume Mr. Godfrey’s position on an interim basis while a search is conducted to find a permanent replacement, said Armel Leslie, a spokesman for Everest.
