Christopher M. Meyer resumed his role as chief investment officer of Fund Evaluation Group, confirmed President and CEO Scott B. Harsh.
Mr. Meyer, a managing principal, had been CIO between 2002 and 2009.
Will McIntosh, who was CIO for the past 15 months, resigned to join the $627 billion Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as global head of research in the sovereign wealth fund’s real estate department, Mr. Harsh said.
Also, J. David Stein, chief portfolio strategist for the firm’s managed portfolios division, has taken on the new role of chief investment strategist, responsible for the firm’s top-down, macroeconomic research, Mr. Harsh said. Mr. Stein will retain his previous title.
Messrs. Meyer and Stein will be responsible for leading FEG’s investment research, with Mr. Meyer overseeing manager research and the firm’s 20-person research team and Mr. Stein responsible for top-down, macroeconomic and market research.
