Danny Meidan was named vice president and senior investment officer at INTECH Investment Management, confirmed spokeswoman Maxine Bergstein.
He replaces Jason Greene, who left in July 2009 to return to academia at Southern Illinois University.
Mr. Meidan was a senior quantitative researcher at Menta Capital. Officials at Menta could not be reached by press time.
