Charles Schwab, chairman of the Charles Schwab Corp., is recovering from heart surgery, the company said Monday.
Mr. Schwab, 73, “underwent successful heart valve replacement surgery” on Dec. 24, Walt Bettinger, Schwab CEO, said in a statement.
“He is resting comfortably and recuperating well from the surgery and expects to return home in the next few days,” Mr. Bettinger said.
