Oklahoma Firefighters Pension and Retirement System, Oklahoma City, later this month will issue an RFP for a real estate consultant to help the $1.6 billion system purchase an office building in the Oklahoma City area, confirmed Robert Jones, executive director.
The system is looking to spend up to about $3 million for the property, Mr. Jones wrote in an e-mailed response to questions.
“Keep in mind that this real estate consultant search is limited to purchasing an office building in the Oklahoma City area only. It will have nothing to do with the board’s larger real estate commitments,” he wrote. “Our investment consultant, Asset Consulting Group, will still consult on the larger real estate commitments.”
