San Diego County Employees Retirement Association will fill the post of chief investment officer, according to Doug Rose, board chairman.
During Thursday’s board meeting, Mr. Rose said the board would discuss at future meetings the duties for the CIO in light of the sale of Integrity Capital Services to Salient Partners, and the move by Integrity’s founder, Lee Partridge, to become CIO of Salient.
Lisa Needle, assistant CIO, has been acting chief investment officer since David Deutsch, SDCERA’s last CIO, resigned in March 2009.
In July 2009, the association halted its search to replace Mr. Deutsch and a month later hired Integrity as its outsourced CIO.
