Kevin D. Anderson was named global chief investment officer for fixed income and currency at State Street Global Advisors, confirmed spokeswoman Arlene Roberts.
He replaces Mark Marinella, who resigned to pursue other opportunities, Ms. Roberts said. She offered no further details on Mr. Marinella’s plans, and Mr. Marinella, through an assistant, declined to comment.
Mr. Anderson will retain his current duties as global head of fixed income beta solutions, Ms. Roberts said.
Separately, Marc Reinganum, a senior managing direct and SSgA’s head of international active developed markets equities, will take on the new title of head of global active developed market equities, adding responsibility for overseeing the firm’s U.S. active equity and Canada developed markets teams.
