Kent County Council Pension Fund, Maidstone, England, is searching for an active currency hedging manager, according to Tenders Electronic Daily, a European procurement website.
The manager will actively hedge foreign currency exposure in the £2.7 billion ($4.3 billion) fund's global equity portfolio, which accounted for about £1 billion of total assets as of June 30.
Proposals are due Nov. 2. Hymans Robertson is assisting. Nick Vickers, head of financial services at the fund, did not respond to requests for further information.
