Bill Moran was elected chairman of the board at the $36.3 billion Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., Juneau, and Steve Rieger was elected vice chairman, according to a news release from the fund.
Mr. Moran is president and director of First Bancorp Inc. in Ketchikan, Alaska. He served as vice chairman for three years prior to the appointment.
He succeeds Steve Frank, who has completed his three-year term as chairman.
Mr. Rieger, a state-registered investment adviser, is a business consultant and owner of S. Rieger & Co. He had been a state representative and senator in the Alaska Legislature, representing south Anchorage.
