Kurt Zyla has been named regional director for listed derivatives at Russell Investments.
The new position is part of plans to grow Russell's listed derivatives business, spokeswoman Stephanie DiIorio said. She said Mr. Zyla will oversee the company's licensing of futures and options based on Russell's family of equity indexes.
Mr. Zyla previously was head of investment strategy for indexes and ETFs at Mellon Capital Management. A Mellon spokeswoman was unable to provide immediate information on his replacement.
