Denise Diana joined Hartford Financial Services Group as vice president, retirement plans midmarket.
Ms. Diana will lead Hartford's efforts to expand its business as a bundled retirement plan provider serving middle-market defined contribution and defined benefit plans with between $5 million and $100 million in assets, spokesman David Potter said.
To drive the company's new sales and marketing initiatives, Ms. Diana will be tasked with creating “a new team of middle-market specialists to support financial advisers, registered investment advisers (and) consultants,” while identifying new opportunities, according to a news release.
Ms. Diana was vice president of business development at Transamerica Retirement Services; Charmaine Hughes is replacing her.
