Brian Baskir was named a senior vice president and head of global consultant relations at ING Investment Management, and Michael Beckerman was named a vice president on the consultant relations team.
Both positions are new.
Mr. Baskir was a managing director and head of U.S. consultant relations at Invesco. He was replaced by Robert Scheetz, who joined Invesco on Aug. 13, confirmed Invesco spokesman David Bachert.
Mr. Scheetz was a senior vice president and senior portfolio manager at AllianceBernstein. In an e-mailed statement, Eric Johnson, managing director and head of U.S. sales, client service and consultant relations at Invesco, noted that Mr. Scheetz's role at AllianceBernstein encompassed consultant relations and sales as well.
AllianceBernstein spokesman John Meyers wasn't immediately available to comment.
Mr. Beckerman, who reports to Mr. Baskir, was a vice president in consultant relations at Columbia Management. He isn't being replaced, according to Charles R. Keller, a spokesman for Columbia parent Ameriprise Financial.
