J. Kyle Bass was named to the board of directors of the $18 billion University of Texas Investment Management Co., said Matt Flores, spokesman for the University of Texas System.
Mr. Bass is founder, managing partner and principal at hedge fund Hayman Capital Partners. He succeeds Clint Carlson, president and chief investment officer of hedge fund manager Carlson Capital, on the board.
