Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, is searching for a global master custodian and a securities lending and cash collateral manager, confirmed spokeswoman Mary Jane Wardlow.
The contracts of J.P. Morgan Chase, which had handled the duties for the $21 billion system, had expired, according to Ms. Wardlow. The firm is invited to rebid for both proposals, and a decision is expected in February.
The RFP for the securities lending and cash collateral manager is due at 1 p.m. CDT Sept. 1 and is available at http://esbd.cpa.state.tx.us/bid_show.cfm?bidid=90105. Proposals for securities lending, cash collateral or both will be accepted.
