Ohio Public Employees Retirement System, Columbus, plans to hire four to seven active long-only domestic small-cap equity managers to run $200 million to $400 million each, confirmed spokeswoman Julie Graham-Price.
Fund officials have not determined the total allocation or the number of managers to be hired.
Small-cap managers that offer separate account strategies including core and style-specific strategies will be considered, according to the RFP.
The initial screening for the search will be conducted using information on eVestment Alliance and Mercer’s global investment manager database. Interested parties should update their performance data as of June 30 and notify the system of interest in the search by sending an e-mail to [email protected] by July 30.
