Elizabeth Behnke was named head of U.S. sales at AXA Real Estate Investment Managers to oversee the company's new U.S. distribution center, according to an AXA news release.
Ms. Behnke will oversee fundraising and investor relations at the distribution center. She reports directly to Kiran Patel, global head of research, strategy and business development.
Mr. Behnke was vice president of investor relations for real estate investment firm Clerestory Capital Partners.
AXA REIM, a wholly owned subsidiary of the AXA Investment Managers Group, had $58 billion in worldwide assets under management as of March 31.
AXA spokeswoman Jocelyne Tamsson could not be reached for comment.
