Jeffrey Silverman joined Perella Weinberg Partners as a partner.
He is part of a team focused on a variety of strategic initiatives, including identifying acquisition opportunities, investor relations and “raising the profile of the firm in the investor and portfolio management community,” Kara Findlay, a Perella Weinberg spokeswoman, wrote in an e-mail response to questions.
Mr. Silverman was a partner and director of investments at hedge fund manager Tudor Investment Corp., where he recruited new portfolio management teams and directed the firm’s external investments.
Tudor spokesman Patrick Clifford did not provide information about Mr. Silverman’s replacement by press time.
