Mark A. Hovey was named CEO of the $3.7 billion San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System. He had been interim CEO since the November resignation of David Wescoe. Before that, Mr. Hovey was the fund’s CFO.
Pension fund officials will begin a search soon for a new CFO, said Rebecca Wilson, chief of staff.
