Ohio Highway Patrol Retirement System, Columbus, issued an RFP for an active domestic microcap core equity manager to run $10 million, confirmed Dan Weiss, executive director and chief investment officer.
The $707 million system will fund the move by reducing a passive midcap core portfolio run by World Asset Management to $28 million, according to Mr. Weiss.
Proposals are due June 20. Finalists will be chosen by the investment committee on June 24 with a decision scheduled for the system’s next board meeting on Aug. 26. The RFP can be found at https://www.ohprs.org/ohprs/Investments.jsp.
