Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, added $20 million each to hedge funds Visium Balanced Offshore Fund, Elm Ridge Value Partners Offshore Fund and Healthcor Offshore, confirmed spokesman Tim Barbour.
Each fund now runs $50 million, Mr Barbour said.
The board in March had increased the $9.6 billion system’s allocation to hedge funds to 15% from 10%.
