San Diego City Employees' Retirement System issued an RFP for a firm to provide actuarial audit services.
The $3.7 billion system's policy requires an audit of the actuary if that firm has served for more than five years. Incumbent Cheiron, under contract to perform annual valuations through the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013, has done such valuations since 2005.
The RFP is posted on the system's website, http://www.sdcers.org. Proposals are due June 11; a selection is expected by June 21.
