Ron Carey was named a portfolio manager at Invesco Realty Advisors, Invesco's real estate investment management unit, confirmed spokesman Bill Hensel.
Based in Dallas, Mr. Carey will oversee the day-to-day operations at the property level for key separate account clients, including the $44.2 billion Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, Boston, according to agenda materials released at PRIM's June 1 board meeting.
He replaces Steve Shafranek, who in January was named associate portfolio manager in the realty unit's asset management group.
Mr. Carey was a regional vice president with ML Realty Partners. ML Realty Partners is seeking to replace him.
