Health and Hospital Corp. of Marion County, Indianapolis, hired American United Life Insurance as bundled provider of its 457 and 403(b) plans, confirmed Norman Aranda, vice president of administration for the Health and Hospital Corp.
The 457 plan has $46.3 million in assets and the 403(b) plan has $1.2 million, Beth King, a spokeswoman for American United, said in an e-mail response to questions.
American United Life is providing the same 27 investment options for both plans, Kevin Kidwell, American United’s vice president of national non-profit sales, said in an interview.
American United replaced Nationwide Retirement Solutions, Mr. Aranda said. Health and Hospital put the provider contracts up for bid primarily in an effort to reduce costs. Nationwide was invited to rebid.
