Diane Gibb was named director and senior portfolio manager at Strategic Fixed Income, based in London, Patricia M. Arcoleo, vice president and Strategic’s chief operating and compliance officer, confirmed in an e-mail.
Ms. Gibb, who will start April 22, takes over for Jeff Brummette, partner, who will retire at the end of this month. Ms. Arcoleo wrote that Ms. Gibb’s role will be similar to Mr. Brummette’s, but with a greater emphasis on fixed-income management.
Ms. Gibb held the same role at Strategic in London from 1991 to 1998. In 1998, she took maternity leave. In 1999 she became a fixed-income manager at New Zealand Fund Management and later was a proprietary trader at the Bank of New Zealand.
Most recently, she was a proprietary trader at the National Australia Bank.
