Town of Stratford (Conn.) Pension Plan is searching for a domestic core fixed-income manager to run $10 million, according to the website of Dahab Associates, consultant to the $87 million plan.
David Lee, an investment consultant with Dahab, said in a telephone interview that the fund is issuing the RFP because part of the fixed-income allocation is passively managed and the other is in corporate bonds only. The fund “doesn’t have an active piece that looks at the overall bond market,” he said.
The RFP is available at http://dahab.com/searches.html.
Proposals are due by 3 p.m. EDT May 5 and must be sent to both Steven Roth, Director of Manager Research, Dahab Associates Inc., 423 South Country Road, Bay Shore, NY 11706; and Michael Bonnar, Purchasing Agent, Town of Stratford, 2725 Main Street, Room 202, Stratford, CT 06615.
Susan Collier, Stratford acting finance director, could be reached by press time.
