Northumberland County Council Pension Fund, Morpeth, England, is searching for an active U.K. bond manager to run £67 million ($100 million), said Clare Gorman, senior accountant at the £670 million fund.
ECM currently manages the assets in its relative European value fund, a pooled vehicle that uses leverage, Ms. Gorman said. “We are looking for a manager to provide a less volatile performance,” she said, adding that ECM could rebid with a different strategy.
Mercer is assisting in the search. Proposals are due April 22. Ms. Gorman said a selection is expected to be made in mid-October. Further information is available from procurement officer Chris Rush at [email protected]
